Full-funnel reporting
Goal
Build end-to-end full funnel reporting with channel attribution to identify which marketing channels drove the highest rates of qualified user sign-ups, activation, and upgrades.Details
I collaborated with the engineering team to implement this reporting, which gave us web visit attribution and the ability to connect web visitors to user behavior. I learned SQL and took ownership of marketing reporting, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.Outcome
While marketing attribution often stops at the website, we successfully tracked active and upgraded users back to their originating marketing channels, enabling more precise and impactful marketing strategies.Key learnings
I gained a deeper understanding of marketing attribution models and their practical application. I learned the importance of working closely with engineers on technical projects and the value of being a data-driven marketer.
Photography census: state of the industry
Goal
Comprehensive market research on the professional photography industry to gain insights into workflows, tools, and challenges, with the aim of informing both product and marketing strategies.Details
I worked with the department heads to understand their research needs, and developed a long-form survey covering key areas of photography. To maximise reach, we incentivised ambassadors to share the survey within their networks and collaborated with partner brands to sponsor the census. This boosted participation and added credibility and visibility. Once the results were collected, we repurposed findings into social content, allowing us to share key findings with the community and increase engagement.Outcome
The photography census provided valuable industry data that directly informed new product development and marketing efforts.Key learnings
I gained experience in managing large-scale research projects and learned how to effectively collaborate with partners and ambassadors to amplify reach.
Photography awards
Goal
Establish the Photography Awards as a prestigious competition to drive leads, build brand awareness, and position Narrative as a thought leader in the professional photography space.Details
As the project manager for the first year of the awards, my role was to ensure a seamless and impactful launch. We partnered with influential photographers as judges and collaborated with brands as sponsors to amplify reach and credibility. My responsibilities included writing compelling landing page copy, setting up entry and follow-up automations, and managing the entries process. Through these efforts, we successfully engaged the professional photographer community and built excitement around the awards.Outcome
The awards are now in their third year and have become a prestigious competition within the community, boosting Narrative’s credibility as a thought leader.Key learnings
Managing a large-scale event from concept to execution. This project reinforced the importance of strong branding and communication strategies to drive long-term success.
